As first time home buyers, we were rather naïve to the entire process and all the steps that we needed to take to make this dream a reality. I still recall how my anxiety was quelled the first time Craig Hill stepped in the front door, looked around, and told us that we will do very well on the market. 'it was a pleasure ...' | | With Calgary’s marketplace in high gear, I wanted to secure a property first and then place mine on the market. Even before we set out to view properties, Craig discussed with us those features of a new home that we deemed as requirements, those on the ‘wish-list’ as well as those that ‘would never do’. Saving us many hours, Craig was able to pre-assess some of the properties and exclude many for just these reasons. Craig communicated effectively with me and my children throughout the process taking time to answer each and every question along the way. Having several months before putting my house on the market, Craig was able to coach me as to what I could do (at times without any cost) to enhance the visual aspect of my home when it came time to place it on the market. Craig made the difference... | | "Over the years we have been subject to dealing with a variety of real estate "professionals" in buying and selling homes in Toronto, Sarnia and Calgary. We must admit that we expected no more than the usual "hype" of a salesmen interested mainly in the collection of his commission. To optimize the potential value we had determined to approach the sale of our home by listening carefully to what the realtors had to offer that was different, in a market that should result in a relatively quick sale. What a pleasant surprise to deal with someone that came in with a plan that reflected more than the usual MLS listing and counting on the numbers and efforts of a collection of other salesmen.
